Maintenance Tips

In this page, we share tips to care for your Jonpony chair so it can continue to look great and work well for many years to come.

Observe Some Guidelines

To keep your chair looking great and working properly, we have put together a list of handy cleaning and maintenance tips.

  • Clean it up
  • Away from direct sunlight
  • Be aware of perspiration and friction

Remember to give your chair some love! Wipe down the leather parts with a damp cloth every so often, especially if you've been lounging on it on a sunny day. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can harm PU leather and lead to cracking over time. Even though leather is tough, sweat buildup can wear it down. Keeping your chair clean and dry will help it last longer!

Leather Care

Dampen a clean microfiber cloth with a little water. If using leather cleaner, spray a small amount onto the cloth. Gently wipe the leather until clean. Leave the chair to air dry before using.

Fabric Care

Remember, like any fabric, fabric can get dirty over time. You can vacuum up loose particles and dirt, and for spills, blot them up with a dry cloth or paper towel immediately. If the fabric gets dirty, use a commercial leather cleaner to clean dirty spots. But make sure to test it on a hidden part of your chair first.

Suede Care

Given that suede is not water-resistant, it's crucial to minimize its exposure to water. For cleaning, confidently use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe away loose particles and dirt, making sure to go against the grain of the suede.

Functional Parts

Rest assured that the moving and functional parts of the chair, including the armrests, tilt mechanism, and hydraulics, are designed to require minimal maintenance when used correctly.
